Project #4

My group and I have decided to do project #4 on the public space known as the gym parking lot. We feel that the gym parking lot is a nuecense to our school because it is overly crowded and there is hardly ever an open parking space. There are many reasons that cause the problem of no parking spaces. The first reason for this is because the parking lot is not very big. They could easily expand the parking lot so more cars could fit in it. The second reason for there being no parking spaces is because people park there to go to class instead of going to the gym. This is a problem because the people who actually want to go to the gym cannot because others (who are going to class, NOT the gym) take up the parking spaces. There needs to be some kind of system where ONLY the people going to the gym can park in the lot. Suposedly, they ticket you for going to class and not the gym, but this punishment has not stopped students from still parking and going to class. They need to be a lot stricter in order to settle this issue.

Pictures

I hope you enjoy the pictures posted on my webpage!! I decided to use pictures of my friends and I for my main page. I did this because I hoped it would let someone see what my life is like. The pictures on my project three pages are pictures of my room. I used these pictures because I wanted people to see what my room was like and how it feels to live in it!

Memories

Now that I have spent a lot of time writing about my room and taking pictures of the important aspects of my room, I am getting kind of sad because I will be graduating and moving out soon. I have spent the last three years in this house and in my room. I guess that graduating and moving out seems like it is going to come quick.

I'm Done!!

Almost done!

Tonight I got most of my project done! I have to say, thank you Brittany! You definately helped me with the CSS coding. I owe you!!!

My Main page

I want to do a picture slideshow on my main page but it seems like many people in the class are also doing a picture slideshow. I want to be creative and do somehting new, but I also want people to feel like they can see "me" just by looking at my main page. I think I am definately going to do a slideshow but I am not sure about my background. I am obsessed with the beach so I wanted to do some kind of beach theme, but I noticed that there was someone in the class who had something similar!

I was thinking about my background for my re-vision page and I am not quite sure about what I want to use. I was thinking about maybe a window that is looking outside because my project is about my room so it could be like me looking out my window.. let me know if you have any comments!!

Project 3

My third project is comming along FINALLY!! It is a lot of work but I think that the end result will come out great. I have been working on it during class so that has helped. I have also had the opportunity to work with some of the other students in my class and their input has helped me greatly. I am jealous because when I look at my peers webpages I see very good work. When I look at mine I do not see that yet because I have not added many pictures as of yet and I have also not added that much color. I am excited to use the CSS page to help me with a background. I am also excited to use different pictures that express who I am!

FAQ

For my FAQ page, I want to talk about three specific topics. These topics include: my purpose and the history of the page, information about the site, and my email address so the viewer can contact me.
My purpose and history: I am a senior at WVU and in Multimedia writing. The purpose of the website is because it is for a school assignment
Information about the site: The website goes into detail about my bedroom

I am a little behind on my writing for project 3. I would like to be a little bit more descriptive in my text. For example, I go into great detail about my room but as I was taking pictures of my room yesterday for my website, I realized I left a lot of things out. I also want to be more reflective. This is my last semester at WVU and I have been living in the same room for three years. I would love to reflect back and think about different things that happend to me in that room. I also think that I could be more narrative in my writing. For instance, In my webpage I talk about my picture frames in my room. I think it would be a good idea to identify specifically one or two pictures and then tell the story behind those pictures. I also need to add some pages. I definately want to create a link that connects my room with the "How to do Laundry" page my group and I created. This will be easy to do because in my "Room" page I talk about my laundry basket. I think that if I expand a little bit in my writing and talk about how I like doing laundry then I can create a link with the word "Laundry" to the "How to do Laundry" page.
